Every Child Succeeds
I hope this website will acquaint you with our school system and many of its programs.
Estill County Schools’ motto is “Every Child Succeeds.” This belief is the driving force for every decision made at the district and school level.
Estill County is developing a rich heritage of academic achievement, as shown by improving test scores and leading the state in achievement gap reduction.
Why is Estill County Schools able to provide a quality education? There are many factors and below are just a few:
School Board- Estill County School Board is committed to focus on what is best for all students’ learning and community success.
School Personnel- The teaching and support staff is dedicated to meeting the needs of each student. They have high expectations for all students so that they can develop the necessary skills for workplace success.
Improving Facilities- The district continues to make improvements on its facilities. The third phase of the high school renovation was completed in the summer of 2008 with four state of the art science classrooms, computer labs, and a remodeled library and auditorium. All schools are properly maintained to assure a safe learning environment for our students.
Community- Estill County Schools works to promote community cooperation and teamwork. The community support is a vital link in providing the best for the children of the county.
