Eighth grade teachers Shayla Carroll, Brandi Smith, and Beth Spradlin participated in the Colonial Williamsburg Teacher Institute in Virginia on July 21 through July 26. They spent time learning about the early colonies in Virginia. They visited sites in Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Yorktown.
The opportunity was provided through Aspire's grant which supports history education in grades 6-12.
