ECHS Graduate selected as UK Commencement Speaker

Estill County High graduate Jay Winkler is one of four UK students that have been selected UK President Eli Capilouto to speak at each of the four UK Commencement Ceremonies. The ceremonies will be held Friday, May 3, and Sunday, May 5, in Rupp Arena. Jay will speak at the 2 p.m. ceremony on May 3. He is graduating with a bachelor's degree in business management from the UK Gatton College of Business and Economics with a minor in political science. He is the son of ECHS Principal Chris Winkler and his wife, Judy.
