Estill County Students and Parents:
We wanted to let you know that the #HealthyAtSchool guidance document Guidance on Safety Expectations and Best Practices for Kentucky Schools (K-12) was revised this week, based upon a recommendation made by the Kentucky Department for Public Health. Use of Cloth Face Coverings (Masks):
• The use of cloth face coverings (masks) should be required by all students and staff at all times while in the building or on the bus, unless medically waivered. Students and staff should only lower their masks while actively eating or drinking. This change is reflected on pages 7, 8, 9, 10, and 13.
We have also revised our Re-opening Document base on this information for in-person classes starting on September 28th 2020. Here is the link for that document.
