Cheyenne Lamb, senior at ECHS, was selected to participate in the Kentucky Agricultural Education Legislative Page Program. Cheyenne, who serves as Estill County FFA Secretary, was one of only 20 FFA applicants selected from across the state of Kentucky!
Cheyenne will participate in an all-day program at the Capitol on February 26th, which includes hearing from legislators and lobbyists, meeting with legislators from this district, and then participating in the legislative session as a Page.
This opportunity required an essay and application, includes several assignments for her to complete before attending in February, and also requires follow-up activities, including inviting her Representative and/or Senator to an event at our school this spring.
