Hello, my name is Michael L. Flynn.  I am a 1989 graduate of Estill County High School. I am also a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master's degree in educational leadership.  During my 20+ years of experience in the education field I have served as the Estill County Middle School (ECMS) Youth Services Center Coordinator providing services and programs to students to enhance their educational experiences.  Many of these programs have focused on helping parents and students transition from elementary school to middle school and then on to high school, as well as, mentoring, and service learning/community service programs.  I serve on numerous committees as well, such as: the ECMS Consolidated Planning Committee, ECMS School Leadership Team, the KYCID Team, the Estill County Schools District Crisis Response Team and the District Communications Committee.

More importantly i am married to Kathy Peak-Flynn and we have two children Aiden and Annistyn.  We currently live in Madison County with our cat Princess and two goldfish who are yet to be named.  I always tell people that i may reside in Madison County, but home will always be Estill County...afterall "home is where the heart is."
