Estill County Schools District Facility Planning Public Forum
The Estill County Board of Education will hold a public forum on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 7:00 pm at the Estill County Board of Education at 253 Main Street. This is the first of three public forums. The purpose of this meeting is for hearing and documenting public comment for the Estill County Board of Education's proposed District Facility Plan, pursuant to 702 KAR 4:180.
Estill County Schools begins District Facility Planning Process
Every four years, school districts are required to look at their facility needs and develop a long range plan to meet the needs of our students. Over the next two months the Local Planning Committee will meet to review current facilities, prioritize our facility needs and develop a plan to address these needs. The District Facility Plan will be reviewed by the Kentucky Department of Education and eventually approved by the Kentucky State Board of Education. Please see the attachment for scheduled meeting dates and public forums for community input.
